Machines, parts, alloys and chemicals that are not obviously sensitive and sometimes controlled all the same.
Most industrial products are not obviously sensitive, and some are controlled all the same: a machine with the wrong accuracy, an alloy, a chemical on a list, a spare part in a batch of thousands. The difference is often a code and a parameter.
We classify machines, parts, materials and chemicals for both the customs code and the export list, so the two agree.
When we are called
- A customer or forwarder asks for the HS code and the EU export classification
- A product line has many parts, and each one needs a code
- A list of chemicals needs its Y codes checked
- You wonder whether a product that is not military can still be controlled
Work we have done
- HS code and EU export classification of machines and handling equipment for two industrial manufacturers, through a law firm.
